Plenary Lectures

The Borate Phosphate Conference pays tribute to two distinguished researchers whose outstanding contributions have greatly advanced their respective fields.

The Borate-11 Conference will honour Prof. Hellmut Eckert (Instituto de Física de São Carlos, Universidade de São Paulo, and Institut für Physikalische Chemie, WWU Münster) in recognition of his pioneering work on borates using NMR techniques. He will be introduced by Prof. Dr. Thomas Wiegand (Institute of Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry, RWTH Aachen).

The Phosphate-4 Conference will be dedicated to Prof. Dick Brow (Missouri University of Science and Technology) for his extensive and influential contributions to the study of phosphate glasses. He will be introduced by Prof. Steve Martin (Iowa State University, USA).
